From March until October of 2017 I backpacked and rode trains across Europe; from Lisbon to Istanbul, and from Tornio to Ragusa. For 230 DAYS I traveled to 47 cities in 18 countries, collecting a terabyte and a half of photography.
I am currently underway of the massive undertaking to edit and process the approximately nineteen-thousand photos I was able to capture in nearly an eight-month period. Beginning January 2018, I will be loading pages of a new gallery, "Europe 2017", to make available to view, each page focusing on a country of my journey, with monthly installments for the next year and a half.
You can like my Facebook page, Josh Was Here Photography, to follow my daily posts and see my adventure through pictures.
You can follow my Instagram account, joshwasherephotos, and I will begin making more posts as this site develops.
The links to my professional social networking accounts can be found at the bottom-right corner in the footer of every page.
Until the next monthly installment, please enjoy the "teaser" images above, and visit the other tabs on this page featuring other galleries of my past work under
"More Photography", and a video montage of the United States under "America 2016".
